Membership is made up of aerospace engineers, materials scientists from nuclear, electronic, transportation and defense industries, university and technical college personnel, suppliers and manufacturers of laboratory equipment and a host of other scientists, consultants, teachers, students and technicians.

Electronic Device Failure Analysis Society (EDFAS) fosters education and communication in the failure analysis community, working for technology advancement and the improved performance and reliability of devices and materials for the electronic industry.
