ASM Twin Tier Chapter Scholarship Criteria

1.      Purpose

Encourage and assist students to pursue study in the area of Materials Science.

 

2.      Who qualifies?

z         A full time college or graduate student who is pursuing study in the area of Materials Science or related area, or high school student with one recommendation from either a teacher or mentor, or an ASM member.

 

3. What is needed?

z         A statement that describes why you are interested in Materials Science in Microsoft word format.

In 2008, a recommendation letter from your professor/teacher describing your activities in the area of Material Science

        

 

4.      Categories of scholarship

z         First prize, $500, 1 student

z         Second prize, $375, 2 students

z         Third price, $200, 5 students
