ASM Twin Tier Chapter Next meeting Date: Tuesday, April 8th, 2008 Location: Rulloffs Restaurant, 411 college ave., Ithaca, NY Award Night & Presentation by Dr. F. Smith Title:Enabling Science and Technologies for National Security Applications Reservations: Please RSVP by April 4th, 2008 to Jane Canfield (607)533-7000 or email jcanfield@imrtest.com Here are just a few of the many reasons to pledge a gift. 1)One hundred percent of every dollar donated is used towards these programs. Zero percent goes towards administrative fees! All administrative costs are paid by ASM Foundation investment earnings. You support only education, not overhead costs. 2)Your gift is tax deductible. 3)The ASM Twin Tier Chapter and others, who strongly believe in this effort, are making matching contributions. Therefore, every dollar that you pledge will result in as much as SIX TIMES or more the contribution to the ASM Materials Education Foundation. 4)The ASM Twin Tier Challenge demonstrates the true leadership position of the ASM Twin Tier Chapter, its individual members, and its sustaining members. No wonder we have been awarded the Chapter of Excellence an unprecedented five times! A pledge form can be obtained from our chapters website (www.asmtwintierchapter.com), from Ron Parrington (www.ron@imrtest.com), or from any Executive Committee member (see list elsewhere in this newsletter). If you wish to pledge a gift, please fill out the form (amount and frequency of pledge, address, etc.) and then mail it to the ASM Materials Education Foundation at the address shown on the bottom of the form. It's pretty simple. ASM will track all the contributions raised in the Twin Tier Challenge and give us the statistics when requested.
